Stephanie Connor began dance tuition at the age of 3, with Ballet and Tap classes at a local dance school. Over the years she has trained in a multitude of styles from Jazz, to Highland, to Freestyle. Her primary focus turned to Ballroom, Latin and Classical Sequence at age 8, competing at Open Championship Level and placing first at Blackpool Dance Festival as a young soloist.
Since 2010, Stephanie has provided community dance fitness classes in County Durham, licensing in a number of well known programmes. She has worked as a trainer and presenter for multiple fitness brands, leading classes alongside Strictly's Ian Waite at The International Fitness Showcase and filming online content for FitSteps and Hau2 Fitness.
In 2014, Stephanie qualified as a Ballroom Branch Associate of the Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association, allowing her to teach and enter students for examinations in Ballroom, Latin and Classical Sequence. She continues her studies with the aim to become a licensed competition adjudicator, and eventually an examiner.
With a background in the world of competitive Ballroom Dancing, Stephanie's teaching is grounded in both sound technique and expressive flair, ensuring students of all ages reach their full potential as dancers.
